Cei Vookto was a Jedi Master during the Clone Wars that destroyed the Old Republic. A Duros Jedi, Cei loved to travel and often undertook long missions far from the center of the Republic. During his time as a Jedi, Cei trained two Jedi Padawans, the last being Dama Montalvo. He was well liked among the Jedi and often entertained his fellow Knights with stories of his travels. With his quiet voice and dry humor, he would hold the attention of his audience.

During the Clone Wars, Cei joined many of his colleagues taking up a position as a general in the Republic Army. However, leading troops into battle against the Separatists forces was a dangerous responsibility and many Jedi Masters were lost during the fighting. Unfortunately, Jedi Master Cei Vookto was one of them. After he became one with the Force, Master Vookto was honored and buried on the planet of Lianna in the Tion Cluster.

His funeral was attended by a number of Jedi Master including Jedi Master Windu, Yoda, Tholme, and more. His Padawan, Dama, joined Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi as he took charge of Cei's remaining troops. During a time of turmoil, Jedi Master Cei Vookto upheld his position as a Jedi Knight fighting to preserve peace and justice in the galaxy.
